If you haven't had the honor of watching How I Met Your Mother, you have at least heard of this hilarious show. Barney Stinson, played by Neil Patrick Harris, is definitely one of the funniest characters on the show and his womanizing, overly-confident self actually has some good advice for us to follow.

1. A woman must be equal parts hot if she is going to be crazy


2. Never say never!


3. Always remember to dress nice

4. Always be a wingman when needed

5. Never forget to be.....


6. Always be confident with yourself

(but maybe not as overconfident as Barney)

7. You're never too old to be a kid

8. Never forget your past and how it shaped your future

9. Always keep an eye on your friends

10. Don't be afraid to have feelings

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
