Who doesn't love the classic Disney Channel movie, "The Lizzie McGuire Movie"? We see a simple, junior high graduate take off to Rome on a school trip. She makes a wish that changes the whole trip for her and her friends. She lands herself friends with a famous pop-star that eventually gets her on stage. If you don't know what's next then grab the movie and enjoy.

1. Wearing an inflatable dress is never a good idea.

2. Sometimes the people that help the most are the most unexpected.

3. If you meet an Italian guy named Paolo and he tells you he can sing, DO NOT TRUST HIM.

4. There truly is nothing better than falling in love with your best friend.

5. If you're going to dance around, make sure it isn't in the bathroom.

6. Sometimes, wishes do come true.

7. Carbs should only be eaten if they are bought for you by an Italian guy.

8. When in Rome, it's OK to be adventurous.

9. It's OK to not listen to that voice inside your head (sometimes).

10. You should only trust those who can finish this sentence: "Hey now, hey now...."

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.
