Let's be honest, "Gilmore Girls" is a truly iconic show. The show ran from 2000-2007, and it explored the abnormally close but truly lovable relationship between mother-and-daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory. Needless to say, over its seven years, many lessons can be learned, but here are ten that stood out to me.

1.) Coffee solves most problems.

2.) Sometimes, life doesn't go exactly as planned, and that's okay.

3.) Speak your mind.

4.) Wait for the guy who builds you your own ice-skating rink.

5.) Never be ashamed for focusing on your schoolwork.

6.) Being a little different is okay.

7.) Good food is essential.

8.) Sometimes the person who is right for you, is someone you least expect.

9.) True friends last a lifetime.

10.) Sometimes, you just need your mom.
