10 Lemurs That Are Basically You

When classes get stressful and you just need a break, looking at pictures or videos of small animals is a great way to get your mind off of life. Lemurs are charismatic little creatures and watching them go through their daily tribulations is therapeutic. Here are some relatable lemurs that are basically just miniature, furry versions of you, tackling day-to-day activities.

1. Seeing a delicious-looking food item you've never tried before.

It's looks so beautiful and savory. You must try it.

2. Taking the first bite of that new food.

You have to take it slow though because you aren't 100% sure what kind of meat this is.

3. When it doesn't taste at all how you expected.

Okay it wasn't meat at all but maybe some sort of vegetable or meat substitute?

4. Spotting one of your friends in public.

It's hard to contain your excitement, so you stare at them until you get closer.

5. Running over to say hello.

The excitement is too much and you can't contain the little hop in your step.

6. When someone asks who ate their leftovers.

You look around at others as if you can't remember that you ate it last night. If you are bad at lying, just casually walk away from the scene.

7. And they discover it was you.

The jig is up so get out of there before things get ugly. Your friends are very protective of their leftovers and you refuse to give up your own food in return.

8. Standing next to a cold pool about to jump in.

Jump NOW! No. Okay, I'll go on the count of three...

9. But one of your friends pushes you in before you are ready.

You're friend beat you to the count and now you're committed to being wet and cold.

10. So you must punish them.

A little payback is in order.

These lemurs have few cares and just want to mess around with each other. Take a break from your stressful life and enjoy their cute, silly personalities. As an added bonus, the way they jump around would be great to add to your cardio routine.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
