10 Awesome Last Minute Spring Break Ideas

Spring break for most of us is officially less than a month away, and if you're like me you just started planning. So here's 10 last minute spring break plans that are sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.

1. Nashville, TN

What a perfect place to hit up with some girlfriends. Check out my fellow writer Tiffany's post about fun things to do there: https://www.theodysseyonline.com/college-kids-top-...

2. Walt Disney World

Now this is what I'm talking about. Take a day to splurge and ride all your favorite rides. Check out their website before and plan ahead to stay from open to close and even catch some "extra magic hours"

3. Savannah, GA

A beautiful quaint little town, home to Tybee Island beach. This city has the cutest places to eat, some of the best sweet on River Street, massively beautiful trees and twinkle lights lighting up everywhere at night.

4. Charleston, SC

I've been living in South Carolina for well over 6 months now and have yet to visit this little gem, but from pictures I've seen it looks oh so splendid.

5. Panama City Beach, FL

There are guaranteed to be lots of college kids here over spring break! If you're looking for a very lively atmosphere for spring break, you'll definitely find that here.

6. Atlanta, GA

My hometown!! There is so much to do in Downtown Atlanta, place to eat, places to shop, and experiences just waiting for you to embark on. On a girl's trip? Definitely check out Ponce City Market!

7. Waco, TX

Can I get a "OH YES!" from all my Fixer Upper fans! Every viewer dreams of visiting Chip and Jo's retail store, Magnolia Market. And also the new bakery at the silos for sure! They're actually having an event called "Spring at the Silos" with tons of craft vendors on March 16-18. (https://magnoliamarket.com/spring-at-the-silos/)

8. New Orleans, LA

Wanting to bunch on some yummy beignets? New Orleans is definitely the place to go for those!

9. Asheville, NC

It might be spring break, but that doesn't mean you can't spend a week in the mountains. If you're looking to get away to some color weather, and a city in the mountains, head to Asheville, NC. Even spend a day at the Biltmore and be sure to check out Vortex Doughnuts downtown, so good!

10. Chattanooga, TN

Yet another mountain destination where you can scale steep Lookout Mountain, explore Ruby Falls waterfall, and check out Rock City featuring sweeping views, sandstone formations and gardens.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
