Winter. The time where we leave the pumpkin in the past and become obsessed with a whole new flavor: Peppermint.

I think of peppermint when I think of winter. I mean what is Christmas without candy canes? There are things, however, that should just stick to their roots. Here are some things that just shouldn't use peppermint.

1. Pringles

Now I enjoy my sweet and salty together, but this takes it a little too far. Pringles aren't really that salty to start with, so these are more like biting into minty cardboard. I'm good.

2. Oreos

Now Oreo. They are coming out with every possible kind of flavor combination. Heck, they came out with a mystery flavor that is more like fruit loops. Some people say these are like the peppermint mocha's at Starbucks, but once I bit into one of these, I completely disagree.

3. Coffee

Mint in coffee, never a good combination.

4. Seltzer Water

These are mostly from stop and shop, a grocery store up north. One sip of these and it will make you feel like you are drinking mouthwash.

5. Hostess Snacks

A ho ho horrible combination.

6. Whipped Cream

Why ruin a perfectly good thing container Cool Whip?

7. Peeps

I enjoy my marshmallow peeps on Easter. One bite of these, however, and it will feel like you dumped a cup of minty sugar in your mouth.

8. Hot Cocoa

Any "normal" person will say, you never put mint in your hot cocoa.

9. Frosting

It is hard to ruin frosting, but peppermint finds a way.

10 Popcorn

The best way to ruin any movie is peppermint in your popcorn.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.
