10 Interesting Classes We Wish Colleges Had

College is a time for growth and exploration. We take classes related to our majors, and sometimes (or most of the time), we don't understand why we're taking them, nor do we enjoy them. We know there are already some strange but interesting classes being offered by different colleges. But what if some more fun classes are offered? Here's a list of some fun or practical classes we might want to see in colleges.

1. Food Tasting

This class doesn't have to only be about tasting quality food. It could also teach how to critique a dish or analyze its presentation. A class that not only will satisfy your appetite, but also teach you critical thinking and oral or written communication.

2. Everything Nutella

Nutella is pretty much a staple in everyone's kitchen, so what if there was a class that teaches you how to prepare or cook different dishes that has Nutella as a key ingredient? You won't be stuck with just a Nutella sandwich any longer. Additionally, you'll get to eat it after you make it! I mean, how amazingly yummy would that be? Super.

3. Wise Shopping

We all go shopping, whether it's for clothes, food, or other miscellaneous things. So a class that lets us know which items are best bought or which stores sell the item most worthy of your buck will be extremely valuable.

4. Single Life

How do you handle yourself when you're single? How can you live a fulfilling single life? Or how do you find the right person? These questions are some questions to be answered in this class.

5. Mixology

Drinking is a form of socializing (once you're of legal age), and everyone appreciates a good drink. Whether you're a host or just someone who wants to impress someone, this is a class you can take (as long as you're old enough).

6. Hustling

Some people say that money makes the world go round and although not completely and always true, it is very necessary to live. So a class that teaches you how to make money in almost every situation is helpful. It doesn't even have to be a deceptive act. It could just be a class that teaches you how to turn situations into opportunities to make profit or connections.

7. Discover a New Adventure

Imagine if there was a class that lets you try out new and daring activities like rock climbing or river rafting, or maybe even bungee jumping. This class is for anyone who wants an adrenaline rush or just a new fun way of getting physically active. Anything goes with this class, as long as you're not faint of heart.

8. Wizardry

Magic, potions, and beast trainings. It'll almost be like attending Hogwarts. Yes please. What else is there to say?

9. Paranormal Investigation

Have you been interested in ghosts and the supernatural? Well, a class that lets you encounter the paranormal through overnight investigations and video recordings should be able to satisfy your curiosity, or at least some of it.

10. Zombie Survival

Surely everyone has thought of how they're gonna fend for themselves in case a zombie apocalypse happens. A class that helps you prepare for this will then be very valuable. And even if zombies don't take over our society in our lifetime, the skills you can acquire such as navigation, knot tying, food picking will be skills that can prove useful in dire situations.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
