1. Schooley's Mountain Park
Located in Long Valley, NJ Schooley's Mountain Park is a great place to go hiking and/or lounge around by river down at the bottom of the hike. You can also find waterfalls here as well to add to your collection of Instagram photos for this Summer!
2. Terrace Pond
If you're looking for a place to go cliff jumping with beautiful views on the way up, Terrace Pond is your place! To reach the pond you will embark on a hike up the mountain, but the views will be breathtaking that once you reach the pond you will definitely feel one with nature! Don't forget to use your Snapchat video to get your friends jumping into the pond :). Located in West Milford, NJ
3. Willowwood Arboretum
Looking to add some flowers, trees, and butterfilies to your Instagram this Summer? Willowwood is the place for you! Along with the scenic area you can also enjoy a self-guided tour of the area to learn about its history. Located in Far Hills, NJ
4. Paulinskill Viaducts
"Hey! Take a picture of me in front of this grafiti" the Paulinskill Viaducts don't just have crazy art covered on its walls it also has breathing taking views that will easily end up on your camera roll. Located in Columbia, NJ the viaducts is an abandoned railroad bridge over the Paulinskill River.
5. Mine Hill Reservoir
Located in Hackettstown, NJ another hilly area, but with great hidden gems like a small waterfall in the back area of the Res. Check this area out if you're looking for just a small hike to open water and a place to relax with friends!
6. Columbia Trail
Located in various areas of Northern NJ, but if you're from the Flanders area like myself you can find the closest access to the trail right off of Flanders-Bartley road. Great place to walk your dog, go for a job, but also great for more of those nature photos!
7. Budd Lake
Located in Mount Olive Township, NJ Budd Lake has been an icon for the MO area for many many years. Not only is the lake great for sunset pictures it is also a great hang out spot on the sand! The small beach area of Budd Lake a great way to get those beach pictures without having to travel all the way to south jersey.
8. Alstede Farms
Looking for a place to go apple picking? Or frolic through the sunflower fields? Alstede Farms is for your Instagram this Summer! Located in Chester, NJ Alstede Farms will add that warm Summer feel to your Instagram with its over 350-acre land you won't run out of things to capture!
9. High Point State Park
Located in Sussex County, NJ High Point State Park speaks for itself! It literally is the highest point in NJ! If you're looking to capture this iconic area this Summer, take a trip and add this to your Instagram!
10. Hacklebarney State Park
Located in Long Valley, NJ another great area with wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls! Add this in your stop after visiting Schooley's Mountain Park it'll give you double the options to post on your Instagram!
