10 Instagram Pages To Instantly Brighten Your Day

Work day got you down? School day have you stressing? Well, take a few minutes to look through some of Instagram's most interesting accounts that are guaranteed to add a little spice and happiness to your life!

1. Pumpkin the Raccoon (@pumpkintheraccoon)

What would this list be without cute animals? Correct answer: insignificant.

Meet Pumpkin, a rescued raccoon who spends her days playing with her two canine brothers (also rescues) and generally being cute.

I dare you to scroll through this account without smiling. I dare you.

2. Kristina Webb (@colour_me_creative)

New Zealand artist Kristina Web’s dreams came true when the sketches and artistic illusions she posted to Instagram garnered her 1.8 million followers and a book deal.

Her art is crazy fantastic, sometimes trippy, and always creative.

3. The Gay Beards (@thegaybeards)

Ever feel like something was missing from your life? Could this feeling have developed from a lack of grown men attaching various objects to their impressive beards?

If so, I recommend taking a trip over to @thegaybeards Instagram page.

They may just be the best thing to come out of Portland in a long time.

4. Anca Moseng (@missanmo)

If your interests are more suited to classic and breathtaking Instagram photography, then Anca Moseng is your new best friend.

This Norwegian photographer takes incredible photos of her travels and hometown that may just induce sighs due to their absolute perfection.

*le sigh*

5. Humble The Poet (@humblethepoet)

If you’re familiar with YouTuber Lily iisuperwomanii, then you probably know of Humble the Poet. The YouTuber/Author/All-Around Guru’s Instagram is a barrage of inspirational tweets and quotes from his books, pictures of him in rather precarious situations and general life knowledge.

Looking for some deep thoughts and deep words? @humblethepoet is your man.

6. DaVid McCarthy (@davidfordisney)

Looking for a quick (or incredibly extensive) Disney fix? Orlando-based artist and fashion designer DaVid McCarthy creates a scroll-worthy account with his custom Disney costumes and cosplay.

Personally, I am a huge fan of this Snow White gender-bender cosplay.

7. Dylan Bonner (@dylanbonner90)

If you still need a little more Disney in your life, try the works of artist Dylan Bonner, who built his Instagram career on fantastic artwork (some of which is Disney-based).

Ever think that Ariel would look totally cute in Cinderella’s dress? So. Did. Dylan.

8. Lane’s Mommy and Daddy (@ferdalump)

And just because we have this magical vibe going, allow me to introduce you to Lane, a little girl who explores the offerings of the happiest place on earth while decked out in custom Disney outfits.

Lane’s mother makes all of her daughter’s fabulous costumes from fabric scraps and Goodwill finds. The results are incredibly impressive. This girl has the childhood that I always wanted.

Slay Lane, SLAY.

9. The Awkward Yeti (@theawkwardyeti)

Looking for some giggles between classes? The comics at @thewakwardyeti may just get you through the day.

A personal favorite of mine is the "Heart and Brain" comic series that shows the everyday interactions between our organs in hilarious detail.

10. Liam Miscellaneous (@waverider_)

We all want to be like Miley and Nicki and Beyoncé. Liam turns his celebrity aspirations into a reality through goofy, discount cosplays of famous celebs.

His Instagram activity has gained him 1.8 million followers so far, and it’s nearly impossible not to smile at the level of dedication presented.

This is talent. This is art.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
