Flowers, chocolate and a romantic movie. Stereotypical views on Valentines Day. But what is it that people actually want? When asking 5 guys and 5 girls, this is what they said their ideal Valentines Day would consist of.
Guys:
Andy: “It’s more about the person you are with than what you are actually doing. I’d say dinner, ice skating then back to one of our places for a movie.”
Jake: “I don’t really care as long as I’m with the person I care about”
Kolby: “It would be up to them, but I think a nice restaurant and a movie. Maybe finish the night off with finding a nice view and just talking”
Sam: “I’d bring her flowers, then probably take her to Hickory Park because I don’t know any other restaurants, then probably get ice cream and maybe a movie”
Henry: " Going to get dinner at a casual place, then coming back and making some dessert (milkshakes, cookies, etc.) Then getting into sweats and watching Netflix."
Girls:
Shayla: “Stay in with a nice homemade dinner with chocolate strawberries. Get flowers and have a nice chill evening together. Probably watch a movie or our favorite Netflix show”
Kelsey: “Possibly going ice skating or doing something spontaneous. Then ending the night staying in, ordering pizza and watching chick flicks. No flowers are necessary, just being together is perfect enough for me!”
Brittany: “I would want to be surprised, night full of surprises. First dinner at a really nice restaurant, go to a park (if it is nice out) sit on blanket and look at stars. Afterward go home, watch movies and cuddle.
Alexa: “Cheesecake Factory because that place is the shit”
Elle: "Probably have him take me somewhere with good food then go home and watch some good movies!"
Most people just want to spend this loving holiday with their significant other. Movies, alone time, and food. What more could you really want?
