There's a lot of divorce, deceit, lies and hardship portrayed in TV shows nowadays. One day when I was watching TV, I noticed that these things were portrayed more than there was any type of notable relationship or marriage. So, I decided to get together a list of wonderful husbands and fathers that have come across our television screen to give all of us women hope that there is a wonderful guy out there for each of us. These are the ones that made all of us raise our standards in men.

1. Nathan Scott -- "One Tree Hill"

This one is just self explanatory, which is why he's in the No.1 spot. He's a wonderful father and a perfect husband. Every girl deserves a Nathan Scott.

2. Danny Tanner -- "Full House"

He ran a house hold with three young girls and did it with humor, compassion and love.

3. Jake McCarthy -- "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce"

Even while divorced, Jake always treats Abby with respect and is there for her when she needs a shoulder to lean on. Not to mention his devotion to the kids.

4. Phillip Banks -- "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"

Uncle Phil didn't take any type of B.S.! He's one of my favorites because he was always levelheaded and gave some of the best advice in TV from the '90s.

5. Eric Taylor -- "Friday Night Lights"

He's southern. He's a football coach who changes his players' lives. He treats his wife like gold. Did I mention he's southern?

6. Keith Mars -- "Veronica Mars"

I had to include him, even though his wife left him. He's one of those dads that would pull out a shotgun if anyone hurt his little girl, and he is one of the best dads in TV history.

7. Rick Grimes -- "The Walking Dead"

Everyone needs a man that is going to survive the zombie apocalypse.

8. Ray Romano -- "Everybody Loves Raymond"

His humor and lightheartedness are qualities every girl wants in a man.

9. Mike Heck -- "The Middle"

His patience for Frankie when she's taken one of her crazy pills is most noteworthy in a man.

10. Alan Matthews -- "Boy Meets World"

His humor is great, but ultimately his compassion for his kids and his wife are what made him make the list.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
