10 Hilarious Social Media Accounts To Follow

Social media is great for keeping up with friends but even better for allowing clever people to make hilarious accounts and keep the entire world entertained! Here are 10 of my favorite ridiculously funny social media accounts.

  1. @fashiondads_ on Instagram: Pictures of high fashion fathers with incredibly detailed captions and hashtags that mirror the kinds of captions fashion bloggers use.
Happy #FathersDay to ME! 😊 You know I love dressing up for the occasion! Today, I'm going for a chic #athleisure look with this custom-made #DesignerDoodle t-shirt paired with a high-waisted #Umbro short. I really love this trend for showing off your waistline. 💁🏼 For footwear, I'm doing vintage black #Reebok trainers with a classic white crew sock, and I completed this ensemble with a functional yet fashionable #AmericanApparel sweatband. I feel SO stylish but also comfortable for spending the day with my family. 😊 Happy Father's Day to all you fashionable dads out there! 😘 #SpecialOutfitForASpecialDay #HolidayLook #FatherOnFleek #CustomCouture #FabulousFootwear #SoxyAndIKnowIt #AthleisureGoals #LoveYourLegs 😉 #FashionDads

Hope you all are enjoying #MemorialDay, but let's not forget what this special day is all about! 🇺🇸💃🏼 I'm honoring our #FreedomFighters with my #FreedomFashion -- a chic sky blue #TommyBahama short with a custom #AmericanFlag patchwork #polo from #AtlantaCountryClub (I gotta represent! ⛳️) and a classic brown #Xhilaration belt to tie everything together. 💁🏼 You also may notice the blue laces in these sassy #Sperrys for a little extra patriotic pride. 😉 And don't mind my #WatchTan lol! 🙈 #AllAmericanStyle #FlagSwag #RedWhiteAndBoom 💥 #CountryClubCouture #TargetAccessories 🎯 #PosingOnThePorch 💃🏼 #MansBestFriend #PatrioticPooch 🐶 #WristGoals #DontBelieveMeJustWatch ⌚️ #MondayFunday #LakeLife #FashionDads via @lizadunning

2. Woman Against Feminism @notofeminism on Twitter: Tongue in cheek comments about feminism.

3. @manwhohasitall on Twitter: Genderswapped tweets that highlight some of the ridiculous things women hear regularly.

4. @hotdudesreading on Instagram: Pictures of attractive guys reading books, usually on the Subway--fun fact, this is now a book too. My favorite part of this account is the captions on the pictures.

Every four years we get a bonus day on the calendar, and this year I’m making the most of it. I spotted this spectacled specimen with a ticket stub doubling as a bookmark, and my wheels started turning. Pretty sure I can convince him to seize the extra night by going on our own musical mission. He can pick the band if I can pick the moves. #NoPantsDance #hotdudesreading #HDRfangram

It’s no secret that book readers turn me on every day of the year, but this guy is making it easy to celebrate the national holiday. Shout out to Silverstien, Suess, Rowling, Dahl and all the rest who I took to bed every night growing up. I hope they won't mind if I switch them out for this guy tonight. Happy #NationalBookLoversDay. #hotdudesreading

5. @GOPTeens on Twitter: Tweets that an old member of the Republican Party would write if trying to be #relatable with the young kids and start conversations on twitter about how great the GOP is.

6. @pakalupapito on Twitter: Someone does an incredible job of tweeting hilarious self deprecating (albeit relatable) things.

7. Emo Kylo Ren @KyloR3n on Twitter: Kylo Ren tweets about school, life, and Darth Vader.

8. @dadjokehansolo on Twitter: The name says it all--Han Solo tells dad jokes.

9. @latenotes on Instagram: A dad who writes remarkably complicated and hysterical notes for his children’s teachers, explaining why they were late for school.

10. Ken M @horseysurprise on Twitter: A guy who is paid to be a social media troll. He comments on articles and on Facebook as an absurd character, and his interactions with other commenters are comedy gold.

The 5 Painfully True Stages Of Camping Out At The Library

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

StableDiffusion

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.

1. Finals are weeks away, I’m sure I’ll be ready for them when they come.
