Let’s be honest. How many times have you overanalyzed what to text him back? If you’re anything like me, you’ve done this more than once. So here are ten high-value texts to send him whenever you're not sure what to say.

1. When he asks you out on a date last minute

There are exceptions to every rule, but if a guy texts you last minute wanting to go out with you, I think it's always best to show him that you won't always be his "on call" girl.

"You love to give me lots of notice! ;) I'm actually busy tonight, but I'd love to see you. Gimme some notice next time and I'll see if I can make it work!"

2. When he's "too busy"

This may be one of the exceptions to the rule when he texts you about going out with him last minute. But remember that guys will always move mountains to be with a girl he really wants. It's okay if the guy you're dating is "too busy", but he should value and respect your schedule too.

"Oh wow! You have time? Lol. Well I'll see if I can squeeze you in... ;)"

3. When he "booty calls" you

This is where you want to turn down his attempt without turning him down.

"As much as I'd love to spend time with you (and I really do lol) I'm just not the type of girl who hangs out with a guy so late unless I'm actually dating them."

4. When he disappears and you want to rekindle his interest

You want to send him a message that entices him. Sometimes guys disappear because they want to know that the attraction isn't one sided.

"I'm at that awesome Mexican restaurant you told me about in (city/area)! You should totally be here right now."

5. When you want to know if he's seeing other people

There is a confident way to do this without coming across needy or insecure.

"Are you seeing anyone else right now, or even thinking about it? It's totally fine if you are, but it just lets me know where your head is."

6. When you want him to express his emotions to you

Sometimes it's hard to get someone to open up to you, but I think the most important thing is that you let them know when they do, their emotions are safe with you.

"I'm always on your side, handsome. Tell me what's bothering you. We're a team. If I don't know, I can't help you fix it."

7. When he says he "needs space"

You dress up as a galaxy and send him a picture of course! Nah, just kidding, but you do support what he wants.

"Of course, I completely understand. I'll miss you tons, but I'm glad you're getting some time with the guys. Have fun!"

8. When you want him to stop texting all the time and call you occasionally instead

There are a few ways to do this, but here's one of them.

"I've been thinking about you today! I'm busy this afternoon, but gimme a call later tonight and we'll catch up."

9. When you want to send him a cute and flirty text to make him smile

Cheeky and playful text messages are always fun ways to open the conversation for the day.

"I just can't get you off my mind and it's starting to annoy me a bit ;)"

10. When you want to change bad behavior

Be direct as possible, but don't nag him. Show him that you know he's a good person while letting him know you're upset with his behavior.

"You are always so kind and respectful to me. But I just feel like what you're doing isn't kind or respectful and I know that's not in your character."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
