From time to time, a girl has had a secret crush on someone. Some girls can mask their emotions quite well and others well, it can come off very obvious.
Here's some things you might have done if you have developed a crush on someone:
1. You laugh at everything that your crush says.
...even if it's not funny.
Him: "My favorite color is blue."
You: Starts laughing hysterically.
You know it's not funny, but you're so nervous that your mind goes blank. You just forget how to function like a human being.
2.Trying to act natural while they walk by.
When you see that you two will have to walk past each other, your brain goes "act natural." You usually end up doing the most uncomfortable movements and you start looking more like a wax figure.
3. You get excited when he acknowledges you in public.
Your heart races, you start to get sweaty. When he gives you that romantic "Sup" nod, your immediate response in your mind is "We're dating now."
4. When you see him more than once a day.
You consider it the best day ever when you see him more than once.
Those days are successful days.
5. Your friends try to settle you down cause your crush is getting out of hand.
When your friends notice your tiny crush has grown into this massive love story in your mind, they sit you down. You are so far deep in this crush that anything they say goes through one ear and out the other.
6. When you randomly think about your crush.
When you're zoning in class and then bam, your crush's beautiful face pops in your little noggin.
7. When you eventually acquire his phone number.
Somehow down the line, you have the perfect opportunity to get his phone number. Whether it's a group project or you see him at a party, you snag that moment and run with it!
8. When your trying to act super chill, yet perfect when texting him.
In the beginning, you're not sure what his texting style is, so you try to create the perfect response. You eventually weave in your hilarious humor in your texts to see if he gets the real you.
9. And then you wait for his text back.
It feels like hours when he finally responds back. During that time period, you think of all the responses he could write back, a million thoughts rush through your mind at this moment of "your relationship" with him.
10. Either you date him or it fizzles out.
As Taylor Swift said "it's gonna be forever or it's gonna go down in flames." Sometimes your crush just stays a crush, but other times I could lead into something magical.
