If going to concerts is one of your hobbies, then you know how expensive it can be to go see a favorite artist. If you're wondering how to get cheap concert tickets, here are some of my concert ticket hacks that hopefully will make your purchase a little less costly.

1. StubHub

Sometimes you can get really lucky if you check StubHub early enough before a concert. They'll email you a confirmation ticket and everything after you purchase. Watch out though, because hours before a concert, the prices often go up a TON.

2. Radio Contests

I would say this is my favorite way to get my tickets! I've won on the radio a couple of times and it's really exciting! Basically a radio station will make an announcement that at a certain time, or when you hear a certain song, you should call their number or text in. If you're, lets say, the 98th caller, then you win! You get featured on that radio station, plus you get free tickets to the advertised show. WIN WIN WIN. Plus the seats are usually really good! May the odds be ever in your favor.

3. Ticket Liquidator

Ticket Liquidator is a lot like StubHub - you can get tickets for concerts, sporting events, and theatre events. Prices vary, and you can change the settings to your specific area.

4. Pre-sales

If you go to a specific artists website, or even Ticketmaster, pre-sales can save you a lot of money! Sometimes artists have promo codes as well on pre-sales for deals and packages to their concerts.

5. Friends

Post on your socials and ask if your friends or mutual friends are selling tickets! Usually they'll sell them for a lot less than what they paid for them.

6. Contests

Sometimes there will be promotional contests through a venues Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages. It's worth checking into, especially if you win free tickets! Look for advertisements by brand deals and radio stations.

7. Holidays

Concert tickets are the PERFECT birthday, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, bar mitzvah, or Easter gifts. It's only October, so start dropping those hints!

8. 4-packs

Get your friends together and purchase a 4-pack of tickets! It's a lot cheaper, plus you only have to pay one processing and handling fee if you buy online!

9. Box office

Speaking of processing and handling fees, if you go to your local box office, sometimes you don't have to pay them! Yes, that's right, save yourself the extra $15 on the ticket and use it to put towards that concert t-shirt you know you're going to want!

10. Student Discounts

If the concert you're dying to go to is at a university arena or theatre you can get a student discount! Even if you don't go to that particular school, you can still buy a student ticket by presenting your I.D at the box office.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
