10 Places In L.A. You Can't Leave Without Visiting

10. In-N-Out Burger

I totally get why it is the favored food destination of celebrities like Tyler Posy, Kylie K and Taylor Swift. The burgers are great, and I highly recommend that you try them when you go out to California. Their fries are just okay, but the burgers and price make it worth it!

9. Santa Monica Pier

Typical tourist spot, but it is pretty cool with live performers, a small amusement park, and all kinds of items for sale that you’re sure to pick up.

8. Hollywood Wax Museum

Wanna see how you measure up to the size of your favorite celebs and see them up close even though you can’t meet them? Go to the wax museum.

The wax figurines are made to the almost exact measurements of the celeb and its crazy when you see just how life like they are. Celebs like Taylor Swift, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Hugh Jackman, and Marilyn Monroe all have wax figures there.

7. Griffith Observatory

Check out the cool mysteries of the galaxy and the earth while you’re in LA at the Griffith Observatory. Plus, you’ll get a pretty cool science lesson while exploring some of the wonders of space.

6. Hollywood Blvd

This is a very long street that has the Hollywood walk of fame. Take a nice stroll and try to find the stars of all your favorite celebs! Just don’t forget to look up and stretch your neck every once in awhile and catch some street performances. Not to mention the plethora of tattoo shops and food places.

5. Cabo Cantina

Speaking of food places, check out Cabo Cantina, and get some pretty amazing Mexican food as well as Massive Monster Margaritas mixed perfectly!

4. Ripley’s Believe it Or Not museum

This museum is full of some pretty outrageous objects and reactions collected from across the globe. Trust me when I say something is there, if not multiple things, that will blow your mind!

3. Loteria Mexican Grill

Another amazing Mexican place in Hollywood Blvd with delicious food and great margaritas. Although, these ones are normal sized. I recommend this place because they have this amazing sweet Mole sauce that has a slight taste of chocolate and it compliments a burrito soo well.

2. The Varnish

I found a Speakeasy in downtown LA. Like a legitimate speakeasy hidden in the back of a bar. We only found it because I had heard about “The Varnish” and we put it into our GPS and it lead us to the front restaurant.

There is literally no sign or anything for The Varnish. But then we asked the bouncer where the Varnish is and he smiled and said “Here. Head straight to the back."

In the back of the restaurant there was a bland door that just looked like it went to the kitchen or maybe even a closet, but then it opened when we knocked. It was amazing!

All of the workers are dressed like 1920’s bar tenders, and the drinks all have pretty badass names. Definitely a great place, if you can find it, do it!

1. USC’s campus

I wandered this campus for about four hours and still kept finding new things. The University of Southern California is home to The California African-American Museum, the California Science Center and about four different Science Center and about three different types of planes just off the top of my head.

Like literally, there are actual planes mounted on 50 foot high pillars on campus. That’s just the beginning, I highly recommend wandering for site seeing. Not to mention the famous Rose Garden in the center of it all!

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Blair Waldorf

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
