To all my fellow high school seniors: congratulations! College apps are over, and we can finally just sit back, relax, and watch graduation day roll around. Here are 10 GIFs that encapsulate what we're all feeling.

1. When you realize you're all done with college apps

College apps are undoubtedly the bane of every senior experience. Combine the stress of writing a really good application with extracurriculars, school work, family, and social life, and you have a recipe for a plethora of sleepless lights. Luckily, it's all over now.

2. But then you remember scholarships are a thing

Sadly, it's not quite over yet. Scholarships are really the only thing protecting us against the terrifying creature that is student debt. I knew it was too good to be true.

3. When your teacher assigns homework

You fool! Who do you think I am--a student who cares? Nothing matters anymore...

4. But then you remember you're taking AP classes

Damn you, CollegeBoard. Looks like there's no time for relaxation just yet. You'll still have to crack down and do your work if you want to do well on the AP Exam.

5. When your friends in lower grades complain about their coursework

Sucks to suck, am I right? It's always enjoyable to poke fun at your friends who still have a year (or a few) left to go. Go ahead, flaunt your status. Tell the world how it feels to taste sweet, sweet freedom.

6. Waiting for college decisions

This is probably the hardest part of being a senior. I. Just. Want. To. Know. The apprehension is KILLING me!

7. Finally getting an acceptance

Well, it looks like I'm actually going to college. Thank God. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it...

8. When you have to think about the future

How am I going to feed myself? How will I get clean clothes? How will I get a real career? I'm going to be an adult soon. Like, a real adult! This can't be happening. Cue panic attack.

9. Realizing that it's almost over

No more terrible teachers. No more hanging around those unbearable classmates of yours. When high school ends, you can go out and explore the world. Discover who you are. Experience new things. Meet new people.

10. But also, realizing that it's almost over

Soon you'll be saying goodbye to the school you called home for four years. You'll miss that one teacher who you have a great connection with. You'll miss that one class you're taking that you absolutely love. You'll miss your friends. You'll miss that club, that sports team, that organization you were a part of. You'll miss the football games, the little quirks and traditions, and the pride that makes your school so special.

So, there you have it. Here's to goodbyes. And here's to new beginnings--for all of us.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
