10 New Girl GIFs That Perfectly Describe You And Your Crush

Hey, You may not know me and I may not know you, but let's be honest AF for a minute. We've all had awkward moments with our crush. You know those moments. If you've never had a awkward moment, WTF HOW? TEACH ME YOUR WAYS, PLEASE.

Anyways, back on topic(ish). If you haven't watched New Girl, what are you doing man? Get on that. Just kidding, you do you. Basically it's a great, cute, awkward girl living with three just as awkwardly funny and amazing guys. Haha are you intrigued yet? Well you don't actually need to know the backstory of her character to relate, so "Emily, just get to the article already."

Will Do. Show us your way, Jessica Day.

1. When you walk into the same room as your crush.

You walk in confident until you see it in all of it's glory. You realize how close they are and you slowly retreat while automatically starting to freak out, but also still admiring the view all at the same time.

2. Having to reassure yourself and others that you're fine.

You know. It's chill that the person I am completely head over heels into is really close to me and being the wonderful human being that they are. It's fine. I'm calm. No need to panic.

3. Seeing your crush with another girl that's much prettier than you.

It doesn't make me sad that they're with some other beautiful specimen who they could possibly date. Ha, not sad at all...

4. Whenever your crush actually texts/snapchats/anything you back.

Assuming that you even have those things of theirs! I mean I had the numbers and snapchats of some crushes, but only because we were friends first and then feelings developed. Other crushes, I was just way to scared to even ask for those things, so it wasn't even a possibility. LOL

5. When you seek your friend's help to get your crush's attention.

Assuming you trust this friend with this information. Telling them who you like could go either way. They could either be psyched and help you or they could be psyched and torment you with that information. Making it as uncomfortable as possible every time your crush is around. If they choose to be helpful though, you guys start the digging. Who are their close friends? Are they single? Birthday? Basically, all the things that could help you get closer to them. Hey even though the stalker vibes are strong, let's be real, we've all done it.

6. Making a scenario about you two being together.

We've all (day) dreamed about what it would be like to be with our crush. However, who knows if it will even be as great as it seems in our head. For all I know, we could have actually suck as a couple.

7. Trying a move and realizing how bad it was.

Ok maybe not that move that she made, but I'm sure we've all tried to make a joke and it was totally just cringe worthy instead of funny. If your crush is nice enough they would give you that dreaded half chuckle and your heart just drops down to the pits of hell and then it comes back up because satan doesn't want your awkward little heart. You know what I mean? *Awkward silence and a half chuckle*

8. When you legit forget how to function because you are in the presence of a god(dess).

Whether they are physically beautiful or beautiful on the inside, how dare they? How dare they be so amazing that they preoccupy our minds all the time. I legit almost spoke Chinese to one of my crushes because I was so nervous and forgot how to speak English. English is my primary language. Get it together Emily, geez.

9. When your crush's status goes from single to in a relationship.

Why must this happen? "How could they do this to me? Especially right when I've mustered up the courage to talk to them." We say to ourselves, lying.

10. Accepting your fate.

Nah, I'm just kidding. I mean I'm sure we have/will all said this at one point in our lives. You can't let that awkward moment ruin it completely for you. I mean what's a crush without a little bit of awkwardness!

Crushes are great (and torture) and so is Jess from New Girl (not the torture part though). In the end, crushes are just sugary, bubbly stuff that can happen to be in us. Get it. Like the soda called "Crush"... Good one, Emily. *Awkward silence and a half chuckle* Or I guess that little nose laugh we do since this is on an electronic device.

Anyways, stay strong my friends. Don't let them see that their greatness is our weakness.

Disclaimer: For all you smart alecks out there, I know it was more than 10 gifs. I meant 10 like as in 10 scenarios I guess. I just didn't want to make the title any longer than it already was, having to explain the gif situation. That's it. Ok bye haha.

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
