Ten Gif-Reactions To Coughlin Girls' Soccer Doubles

The soccer season is upon us in full force as always. The conclusion of doubles is bitter-sweet since although practices move to once a day, school is a week away. During the past week, we have had the chance to really get to know each other, and we can all relate to these moments.

1. When they tell you to run until they say stop

2. When we're all cheering each other on from the sideline during gassers

3. When you can't breathe but you still have 10 minutes of laps until a break

4. When you think you've been at practice for an hour but it has only been 10 minutes.

5. Your response when the freshmen ask "Are doubles really THAT bad?"

6. When everyone is on break between activities in the morning and they ask "You guys ready?"

7. Coaches at the end of morning session telling us to eat well and hydrate

8. Seeing the kids on the Jr. High team as you're coming back for the afternoon

9. Everyone showing up every morning

10. And finally, that amazing feeling on Friday afternoon

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
