Finals are in full swing around us. I won't deny that they are a stressful time that all you can do is wish them away as you prepare for them. Hours upon hours in the library studying theories you have long forgotten about over the course of the semester. One thing that always gets me through finals is knowing I get a break to stop and eat a meal. This finals season keep these delicious foods in mind when you take a study break.

1. Sushi.

An all time favorite for me, nothing gets me through a study session like knowing sushi is my end reward.

2. Chinese Takeout.

Takeout is always a winner and what better treat after a study grind?

3. Taco Bell.

Taco Bell is the holy grail of fast food, treat yourself with a taco when your mind needs a break.

4. Ice cream.

Because ice cream fixes everything.

5. Chicken nuggets.

I don't believe that I have ever met someone who didn't enjoy nuggets.

6. Indian food.

It is impossible to beat the flavor of Indian food. All the wonderful flavors will be a perfect distraction from studying.

7. Chipotle.

Because Chipotle is life..right?

8. Burgers.

What better classic to give you some study relief.

9. Quesadilla.

A stadning favorite, it is hard to beat one of these.

10. A drink.

Honestly, it is finals week something has to take the edge off, right?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
