IT’S SUMMER, which mean no school and no ‘real’ responsibilities. It also means it’s the best opportunity to take a road trip with your friends. Road trips are such an underrated way of travel. All you need for a great road trip is your best friends, a killer playlist, and somewhere to go. So pack your packs, pick a place, and just drive. If you live in Florida or are planning a trip to come, there are some pretty awesome places to explore here.

1. St. Augustine

The oldest city in the United States is filled with some amazing history.

2. Wakulla Springs, Crawfordville

Not only are the water crystal clear, but also super cold, making for a great way cool down in the Florida heat while also exploring a new place.

3. Key West

Or just the Florida Keys in general. They are all pretty amazing and make for an exceptional drive.

4. The Dali Museum, St. Petersburg

This museum is a large collection of Salvador Dali's artwork. Even if you aren't that into art, the building it self worth the drive.

5. The Devil’s Den, Williston

Another stunning spring in Florida, The Devil's Den is unique because it is located underground.

6. Disney World / Universal, Orlando

Because amusement parks are the absoltue best.

7. Florida Caverns, Marianna

Air filled caves that take hiking to a whole new level.

8. Apalachicola

A small, cute sea town known for its fishing industry with a large personality.

9. Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, Palm Coast

This state park is filled with hundred year old oaks. The forrest makes for an amazing photo op.

10. Pensacola Beach

Famous for it's white sands and clear waters, Pensacola may have the best beaches in all of Florida.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum.
