North Georgia: beautiful scenery but not much to indulge a city kid. If you somehow wind up in the northern sticks of the peach state, here are some things you can do that are actually fun.
Blue Ridge
1. Scenic Railroad
The town of Blue Ridge, Georgia has an open-air car train that allows you to see the beauty northern Georgia has to offer.
2. Mercier Orchards
Do you love blueberries, cherries, strawberries and apples and would want to pick them yourself? This orchard in Blue Ridge is the place for you! If their pick-your-own isn't open, there's still a store and restaurant to enjoy.
3. Mountain Art Center
This place has work from local artists and visiting artists that will surely peak the interests of everyone. They also rotate artists every one to two months.

Helen
5. Tubing
If you know nothing about Helen, keep in mind that all of the buildings are Bavarian-style. Its main attraction besides these funny looking building in the tip of Georgia is the tubing down the Chattahoochee river.
6. Hiking
The biggest activity in northern Georgia as a whole is hiking. In Helen, you can find multiple hiking trails, some even leading to waterfalls.
