As a little girl you dream that your Prince Charming is going to show up at your door in a horse drawn carriage and take you away to his magical kingdom. Thanks to Hollywood, these fantasies that we create about romance based off the movies sadly do not always live up to the screen-written romance. Even though we do not always get the "Love Is An Open Door" feeling like Anna felt in Frozen, we still love to watch fictional couples fall in love and create ideas of what "love" should look like. So here is a list of some of our Hollywood fictional couples that are real life couple goals.
1. Tarzan and Jane
One of the best Disney movies ever created, the 1999 animated film, Tarzan, showed us how love does not have certain codes and guidelines. Jane came from a civilized community, where Tarzan was raised by the apes of Africa. They fall in love, each changing for one another and becoming accustomed to each others ways of living.
2. Shrek and Fiona
The movie, Shrek, exemplifies that love is not just based on physical appearances, but from how the other person makes you feel. Shrek and Fiona fall in love when Fiona is in her human state, showing that she saw past his mean, monstrous, qualities.
3. Belle and Beast
Beauty and the Beast, shows that there is so much more to someone than what can be perceived on their outside. Belle got to know Beast and discovered who he truly was.
4. Allie and Noah
The Notebook, was and still is the go to movie for couples. The love story of Allie and Noah and how they grow old together gives a viewer goosebumps every time they watch.
5. Chuck and Blair
"Hey Upper East Siders," Gossip Girl had many blooming relationships throughout its seasons. The one relationship that viewers craved for every season was Chuck and Blair's. They might have done awful things, and hurt each other, but they always did their best to make each other happy, and be there for one another. XOXO
6. Jim and Pam
If you ever feel like you have feelings for someone and are afraid to tell them, just hope that you have enough time to tell them before it is too late. Jim and Pam in the TV show, The Office, know that each other has feelings for one another the moment they meet. They keep fighting it but in the end they realize how much they truly love each other.
7. Troy and Gabriella
Do you believe in fate? Luck? How coincidental is it that Gabriella moves to the exact same High School as her winter break flame Troy Bolton? High School Musical makes you believe that one day Prince Charming is going to walk through the doors of your high school and say "Hey I'm here!"
8. Derek and Meredith
Before Derek's untimely death, Meredith and Derek were the hot, doctor, success goals. Grey's Anatomy gives us many couples that we love and hate, but since the beginning of the show their love has always been one to admire.
9. Edward and Bella
Who wouldn't want a vampire falling in love with them?! Twilight set the standards for women up a little bit higher for men, who now had to compete with Edward Cullen. The love that Edward had for Bella, who was just a human and not nearly as strong, fast or powerful as Edward was, showed that love was not defined as the type of person you were or the interests that you had. Edward loved Bella because she made him feel whole, and he made her feel powerful and strong.
10. Haley and Nathan
One Tree Hill, gave us the dream couple of Haley and Nathan. Nathan was a jock, who thought he ruled the world and was untouchable. He came off as not being able to comprehend the idea of how to love someone. Haley was a sweet, smart, caring girl who was the complete opposite of everything that Nathan was. Even though they were complete opposites, they fit each other like a glove and made us believe that our true love could be just down the hall.
