10 Fictional Characters You Meet In Real Life
Movietechgeeks

There comes a time when you're watching a television show, or movie, and one of the characters relates to someone you know in real life. Here's a list of the typical stereotypes of people you have encountered in your life.

1. Barney Stinson, the player.

His one and only idea of fun is sex. It doesn’t matter with who or when, it’s all about sleeping around. While this all seems bad, he is also the guy you can call on for anything. Whenever you need something, he is there for you -- unless he’s in the middle of doing the deed.

2. Monica Geller, the Mom friend.

We all have the mom friend. She is the one who gives you advice, has everything imaginable to handle any situation, and always lets people hang out in her home.

3. Troy Bolton, the good guy.

He plays sports, is musically inclined and is the most handsomest thing. All of the girls have a crush on him, secretly or not. If one was to list out qualities describing a dream guy, you would find them all in him. Yes, he makes mistake but he’s a human. It happens.

4. Sheldon Cooper, the know-it-all.

You often want to ask this person to please stop talking. They simply believe that they know everything and need to share everything they know with you. Also, they often believe that because they are so smart, that automatically makes them better than you. A little message in case you are tis person, less is more. I don’t care for your weird facts about bear poop.

5. Dr. Bailey, the blunt one.

In "Grey's Anatomy," the other characters refer to Dr.Bailey as “the Nazi” because of how tough she is. This person will say whatever he or she wants no matter if it is offensive or hurtful. The are blunt and occasionally harsh but you’ll always get the truth from them.

6. Samantha Jones, Miss Boy Crazy.

Did someone say boys? This girl is boy crazy! Men love her and she loves men. She can get a boy by batting her eyes as fast as a baby gets a bottle by crying.

7. Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf, the perfect couple.

If you’re like me, then you would do anything to be this could. They have more love for each other than I thought was humanly possible. Yes, they get into arguments but in the long run we see that they never gave up on each other. They are the definition of relationship goals.

8. Sandy (before Danny), goody two-shoes.

This person obeys all of the rules at all times. They never do anything wrong, nor something that would hurt someone else. Drink? No. Swear? No. They don’t even rat their hair.

9. Rachel Berry, the star.

In this case, Rachel Berry is theatrically enhanced and makes it known to everybody. It doesn’t matter what the persons special talent is, it’s the fact that they are really good at something and everyone knows. They are the star in that topic.

10. Kimmy Gibbler, the airhead.

They aren’t exactly book smart, neither street smart. If anything, you can easily count on them for a good laugh. No matter what, you can't help but to love them.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
