The fall season is one of the most beautiful and exciting times during the year. The weather cools down and the leaves change. Many may feel that we loose out on activities that can only be done during the warmer, summer season. However, with fall, comes various activities for the Autumn season. If you and your boy friend or girl friend are ever stumped on something to do, here are ten ideas for dates that are fun and fall-related!

1. Football. 'Nough said.

Whether you go all out and tailgate at Gillette, then head into the stadium to cheer on the Pats, or snuggle up and watch the game at home with some wings and a couple of cold brews, or even go out and support your home-town high school team, fall is for football and watching a game is the perfect date!

2. Pumpkin picking, carving, and baking the seeds

Is it really fall with your significant other if you don't do this?

3. Apple picking

This can be combined with pumpkin picking, and you and your significant other can make a whole day out of it, or it can be done on separate occasions. Either way, you can bake some delicious treats together after like: apple pie, baked apples, apple cider, caramel apples, etc.!

4. The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo

This is a fun fall date because there's tons of booths with treats like: fried dough, churros, kettle-corn, etc. After satisfying your sweet tooth, you can walk through the zoo and admire all of the beautiful pumpkin carvings and designs. (Go during on a week night to avoid a higher fee and the weekend crowd.)

5. Hiking

The fall season is the perfect time to go on a hike. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking with the trees changing all different colors!

6. Haunted Attractions

Haunted houses, trails, and hayrides, Haunted Hill, and The Factory of Terror are just a few spooky fall attractions that will have your boy friend/girl friend cuddled up close!

7. Picnic

Go on a sunny day, pack up some lunches, grab a bottle of wine, and head out somewhere secluded for a nice, romantic picnic!

8. Cuddling and making s'mores outside by the fire.

If you have a fire pit or can find a few wood palates to burn, this is a fun and cozy date for those chilly fall nights.

9. Visiting Salem, MA

A day spent in Salem is the perfect date for the fall season, especially right before Halloween. This is where the witch trials took place years and years ago, and this town has plenty of tours and activities!

10. Halloween/scary movie night

After a long day, when you just feel like cuddling, this is a great way to spend time together during this time of year. Movies like Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, and The Legend of Sleepy Hallow are just a few examples.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.
