It's November, officially Thanksgiving season. Which is great if you like Thanksgiving. But if you're anything like me, Thanksgiving leaves you feeling less than excited.

1. You get irrationally annoyed at Pumpkin Spice anything.

(But you can't stay away from the PSL.)

2. The idea of the of "Turkey Trot" gives you anxiety.

3. You don't subscribe to the "First Thanksgiving" nonsense. Yeah, I see you pilgrims. What's good?

4. You don't actually eat meat and you're stuck with sides.

5. Thanksgiving TV specials are never as good as Christmas or Halloween.

6. You have to mentally prepare yourself for Black Friday.

7. Are there even Thanksgiving Carols?

8. You low-key love the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade.

9. You're just waiting for it to be socially acceptable to put up Christmas decorations, because for you it was Christmas season November 1.

10. But you get hyped anyway, because any day spent with family and friends is a great day for you.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.
