Another competitor talks about your country or favorite athlete... we'll just see who wins the medal
5. Boldness
Your country won a silver medal? That's nice mine won gold. #Merica
6. Emotional
Seeing the athletes win and knowing their hard work has paid off is so awesome. Watching the American flag rise and hearing the national anthem play humbles every who sees it. It may even bring tears to your eyes.
7. Motivation
Sometimes you picture yourself at the Olympics; competing, winning medals, and being one of the best athletes in the world. This dream usually motivates you to start working out, eating healthier, and trying to get in shape. However, the motivation probably doesn't last very long.
8. Astonishment
It is amazing to see all of the extraordinary talent and to witness the athletes break old and make new Olympic and World Records. It's history in the making
9. Pride
Even though you don't personally know the athletes, you have an overwhelming sense of pride for them, team USA, and the country as a whole.
10. Love
Love for the athletes, the sports, and most of all, love for your country.
Michael, thanks for 5 great Olympics and congrats on all of your success. Best wishes to you in your next step of life.
