There is a point in many people's lives that they eventually get ready to graduate school. Whether it is graduating from high school, college or anywhere else, people can tend to feel the same way when graduation is coming up and when it is over. Here are 10 feelings you might have or had when you graduate.

1. How relieved you are

Throughout the past four years, you can finally say it is coming to an end. All the schoolwork, some meaningless classes, stressful studying and getting little to no sleep has all paid off for this very moment.

2. Being excited for the big day

The big day also known as graduation day is slowly approaching and you just can't wait to finally walk across that stage to accept your diploma and know that you are doing it with the people you are closest to.

3. Nervous about messing up

After going through pointless graduation rehearsals, hearing your name called for practice numerous times and finding the right clothes and shoes to wear to graduation still deep down inside you are nervous about actually walking across the stage and possibly messing up even though you practiced it multiple times.

4. Being scared to have to be an adult

Although you spent the past four years preparing for your future after graduation you are still scared to have to be on your own and be an adult and have so many responsibilities that you don't think you are ready for.

5. The thought of leaving your friends

Eventually, you start to realize that you and all the people you have gotten close to and have known for years are going to go their separate ways and eventually live their own lives. You won't be able to see them every day but you will try to remember it isn't goodbye forever.

6. Thinking back on all the memories

You start to slowly reminisce about everything that happened during not only the past year but the past few years. You start to think back about prom, your first day of school and all the things you were involved in throughout the years as you look at the pictures and realize that those memories will stay in your heart forever.

7. Being optimistic about your future

Eventually, you start to believe that you can actually make it in the big world and that the future might not be as scary as it seems to be.

8. The satisfaction of making your family and friends proud

The realization that you were able to make your family and friends proud of you for reaching this milestone.

9. Realizing that you had help along the way to get you to this point in life

Whether it was with the help of teachers, coaches or counselors you had someone in school to support you with your decisions and work.

10. When you finally realize you made it

You finally made it to graduation and received your diploma, all those years of hard work have finally paid off.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you

Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
