As August keeps rolling on, college kids have one thing on their minds: going back to school. While there is some sense of summer sadness, it won't last. Here are, in order, the feelings and thoughts every college student has towards the end of summer.

1. End of summer sadness

It sucks to have classes and all, but like, it's not a major priority. Summer was fun, and you're sad it's over, but it is COLLEGE after all!

2. Anxiety about packing

What will you actually wear this year, and how much will you use before you go home during the semester break?

3. Excitement about seeing friends

All your friends are down the hall now! No more "IMY" texts, you will bump into each other in the bathrooms!

4. Excitement for parties, football games, and living right next to your friends.

What's better than a tailgate? Or a football game in the early fall heat? NOTHING!

5. Depressed because classes mean work

You can't go out every night after syllabus week... Bummer man. But, work hard, play harder, right?

6. Excitement about leaving home

While you may love summer, being around your family and having to follow your parent's rules again can be a PITA (pain in the ass). You can only miss them if you go away! And vice versa.

7. Some sadness about missing your family and friends at home

Going means goodbyes which always suck. Some of your friends won't being back when you get to campus, and your family won't be either. Yeah, they can all be annoying at times, but they are your family and childhood friends.

8. The frustration of trying to get all your stuff to fit into a car

How can what seems to be only the essentials barely fit in your dad's SUV!? Ridiculous how size estimation NEVER works, UGH!

9. Exhaustion while unpacking and moving all your stuff into a room while everyone else is, too

How heavy could a MINI fridge be!? Okay, let's be real, my dad carries this for me, with my help sometimes. Even a box of clothes or shoes, jeez Louise they make you sweaty and tired.

10. The relief when you finish unpacking and can start your life again

Smiles and teary goodbyes to your family, before you wipe them and go hug your friends hi!

All in all, most of the summer flies by, but the end either goes by too slowly or too quickly... and there's no in between! The end of a season, especially the summer, comes with highs and lows and many in betweens. Emotions run as high as the heat and often times can run even higher. Cherish the time you have left with everyone at home, pack thoroughly, and get ready to start a brand new chapter!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
