College: The phase of life where you are wrapped in a bubble before real adulthood.
College is what every high school student dreams about and what every college student dreams of passing. College is quite the experience, that's for sure. Here are some typical everyday thoughts of a college student.
What am I really doing with my life? Do I REALLY need this degree? Dropping out sounds like a great idea.
Can I squeeze in that extra nap? My sleeping schedule never got more messed up until I went to college. College is the place where staying up past one a.m. every weekday is normal and so is the waking up at six forty-five for your eight a.m. class. It's the place where napping between classes has become the usual. It's debating if you can sleep in fifteen more minutes wondering if your professor will actually count you late.
Do I really need to go to class? The answer is yes when attendance is required but then debating if you should use one of your few skips for that class to sleep in.
Cafeteria food or the student center food? Do I want to use my swipes on Chick-Fil-A or save them for my daily Starbucks coffee? Might as well just eat in the cafeteria
Extra Credit? Knowing you should really take advantage of it but procrastinating during the semester to take advantage of it
Do I want to study or be social? Here's one of the real questions of college. Most of the time I end up procrastinating my studying until twelve am.
Or do I want to take another nap instead? Another very real struggle of college life.
I miss my mom. Do I want to make the drive to go home this weekend?
Do I want to pay to do my laundry or go bring it home? Mom loves to come to the rescue on that one.
Maybe living with my parents my whole life isn't such a bad idea after all. Admit it, you've thought it.
