For a while now there has been some type of 'secret menu' at Starbucks. If you've ever gotten so bored that you end up scrolling your explore page on Instagram you know that every once in a while some funky looking drink in a Starbucks cup comes along. Which ultimately led you to believe that the whole idea of a 'secret menu' actually may not be a myth. But if you are anything like me, you probably would never actually go into Starbucks asking for any of these ridiculous drinks. I have always been afraid to get the common "Ugh what?" reaction from a barista, until now. Ah, the power of social media. Websites like http://starbuckssecretmenu.net are chock full of wild drinks you can actually order. When I went in to get my 'Pink Drink' it led me to have a chat with the barista's. They ultimately told me any wild drink you find on the internet can be made as long as you have a screen shot of the components for the drink! So basically the key to ordering is telling your barista what is in the drink, it's as easy as that. The myth is now officially busted, you can thank me later.

1. The Pink Drink

If you frequent any social media platform you most likely have seen something that looks like this within the last couple of weeks. I went into Starbucks with a clear mind and a full heart hoping I wouldn't get denied by my barista, and I almost did. Referring to the drink as 'The Pink Drink' ultimately left my barista looking at me as if I had 10 arms. But after calling it by its official name, the problem was solved. This cute baby pink drink goes by Strawberry Acai Refresher with coconut milk and berries.

2. Cotton Candy Frappuccino

Sticking with the pink theme, this one is easy to order and actually tastes like cotton candy! All you have to ask for is a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with Raspberry Syrup (one pump tall, one and a half pumps grande, two pumps venti)

3. Arnold Palmer

Obviously the classic Arnold Palmer by Arizona is simply a mix of Lemonade and Iced Tea but look no further, you can get one at Starbucks now too! Tell your barista you want a half iced black tea half lemonade with classic syrup (one and a half pumps tall, two pumps grande, three pumps venti)

4. Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato

If you are a coffee drinker you have to try this. Especially if you don’t like the different flavors that come with the regular layered Macchiato's. It’s sweet but not too sweet and has a delicious blend of caramel, cinnamon and a bit of vanilla. Ask for Iced Soy Caramel Macchiato, upside down with Vanilla Syrup (one pump tall, one and a half pumps grande, two pumps venti) and Cinnamon Dolce Syrup (one pump tall, one and a half pumps grande, two pumps venti)

5. Cake Batter Frappuccino

There are a ton of secret menu drinks that involve blending Starbucks cake pops, biscotti and other treats into the drinks, but some Starbucks locations will sadly turn you down on this but it doesn't hurt to ask. For this one simply ask for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with Hazelnut Syrup (one pump tall, one and a half pumps grande, two pumps venti) and if you're lucky add a cake pop!

6. Cookies and Cream Frappuccino

This one is sometimes referred to as the Oreo Frap, and the recipe is simple if you love cookies and cream ice cream, this tastes just like it! A Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino blended with white mocha sauce (instead of regular mocha) topped with your choice of chocolate or whipped cream.

7. Mango Milk Tea

Now that Starbucks has a iced mango black tea on its regular menu this means tons of new combinations for the secret menu. If you are into the bubble tea trend this is for you. Just ask for a Iced black tea made with half and half instead of water and some mango syrup (one pump tall, two grande, two and a half venti)

8. Fuzzy Peach Tea

Starbucks recently started offering peach syrup, so this drink is poppin amongst avid secret menu drink orderers. If you are looking for a refreshing peach drink, try this, ask for Passion Iced Tea with half water and half orange mango purée with light ice and peach syrup instead of the classic syrup!

9. Lucky Charms Frappuccino

If you are a kid at heart you obviously buy a box of Lucky Charms and only eat the marshmallow's. Well now that Starbucks offers a S'mores Frappuccino you can have one made that tastes just like our favorite childhood cereal. Ask for a Creme Base Frappuccino with white mocha syrup (one pump tall, one and a half grande, two venti) Add marshmallow syrup (one pump tall, one and a half grande, two venti) and top with whipped cream!

10. Butterbeer Frappuccino

This one hit me right in the feels since I am dying to go to Harry Potter World at Universal. We can’t exactly visit Hogsmeade, so here’s the next best thing! Ask for a Creme Frappuccino base with whole milk (it's required for the right consistency) add three pumps of caramel syrup and three pumps of toffee nut syrup, lastly top with caramel drizzle!

P.S ... Check out http://Starbuckssecretmenu.net for a bunch of other secret drinks that you can actually order! Also Starbucks just released the new Sunset Drink Menu, no code words needed here you can find them right in your local Starbucks on the actual menu!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
