With Halloween right around the corner, you might be wondering what costume you should wear. There are a million ideas in the world and you just can't seem pin it down to a single one. You might also be a broke college student with no money, or might not know where you could even buy a costume if Walmart is already sold out. If you're just a family who needs help or college student or adult with no idea what to do, here are ten easy, cheap, last minute costumes that you can put together.
1. Witch/Wizard
All you need to do is wear all black, grab a broom and a witch's hat, and you're basically set. Women - if you choose, you can add a cool tutu or striped socks. Men - you could probably add glasses and a beard.
2. Ghost
If you have a white sheet, you're set. Cut out eye holes and boom, you have your costume.
3. Chef
If you have an apron at home, this one will be easy. Grab some spoons or whisks, put them in your pockets, and maybe add a chef's hat.
4. Scarecrow
For this costume, all you need to wear is a flannel shirt, grab a straw hat, and add some simple make-up on your face.
5. Tourist
Grab a Hawaiian shirt, a camera, fanny pack, some knee high socks, and this look will be easy for you. You can also add a little extra pizzazz by adding sunscreen to your face.
6. Robber
Just like the witch or wizard, you need all black. For this costume, you add a black beanie or a mask and you'll be set.
7. Big Kid
For this costume, you'll need footie pajamas and a stuffed animal. You can find these at Walmart or any clothing store near you.
8. Three Hole Punch Jim
If you're like Jim from The Office, this costume will be perfect for you. All you need is black dress pants, a white shirt, and three black holes taped to your shirt. You can be "Three Hole Punch [insert name here]".
9. Athlete
This costume will be easy if you're athletic. You can wear althetic shorts, an athletic shirt or jersey, and carry around whatever sports equipment you have at home.
10. Cat
The ever popular cat. Again, all that is needed for this costume is all black, black cat ears, and simple cat makeup.
