10 DIY Christmas Ideas

I swear it was just easter last week and now were getting ready for Christmas. Christmas really is a stressful time of year I know I stress real bad around this year; picking up more hours at work which makes me tired 24/7 and a witch just to have more money to get Christmas gifts for everyone around me. My favorite thing to do is DIYs(Do It Yourself) it's easy and it can be cheap sometimes. Here are some Ideas you can do by yourself or even with your family!

Decorations

1. Christmas wreath with ornaments

It's absolutely adorable!! I have been thinking about making one of these for awhile. I have made a wreath before for my grandmas birthday and it took awhile to do that so I'm not sure exactly how long it will take you but it is so worth it.

2. Crafts for kids

You know little kids love helping so why not have them 'help' make something for your home. Some are just way too cute to not make. Some of them look actually pretty easy so that is a plus!

3. Christmas candles

Who doesn't love candles? If you don't you are crazy! I do think the glass of some candles are plain but you can spice it up with anything really but with this time of year Christmas decor is the way to go. They can go in your home or you can even give them for gifts.

4. Christmas Snowglobes

Snowglobes are so pretty and so much fun to look at. Whoever invented them really should a cookie of their choice. They can be for decor or even as a gift. They don't even have to be for the holidays!

Gifts

5. Holiday Bath Bombs

I am a big fan of bath bombs and I know the majority of the females in the world are also. They are fascinating to watch when they hit the water.

6. Personalized coffee mug

If you drink coffee or you know someone who does this is your go to gift!! I feel like this would be an awesome gift for your grandma.

7. Crochet twist scarf

When it's cold outside scarfs will save your life, Depending on your outfit they always pull everything together. I'm in love with scarfs.

Ornaments

8. Mason Jar Lid ornaments

You can never have too many ornaments on your tree... well you can overdo it sometimes but that's, not the point here. I love homemade ornaments

9. Wreath ornaments

How cute would it be to have a matching wreath that is on your door also on your tree. Every year you make a new wreath for your door you can also make new ones for your tree... Then the year after give it away as a gift!! You/re welcome for the idea!

10. Hanging stick snowflake

Who doesn't love the most basic ornament ever? I do that's for sure. It probably the easiest thing that has ever been made. Maybe basic but if you add color it could be super cute!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
