10 Disney Channel Movies from Our Childhood

Everyone remembers the days of watching Disney Channel all the time and all of the Disney Channel Original movies. These were an essential part of our lives and we watched all of them. Some were because our favorite people from other shows were in the movies or just because they sounded really good to us. Cue the nostalgia to your elementary and middle school years with this list of movies.

1. High School Musical (1, 2 and 3)

The biggest movie series Disney Channel ever made. High School Musical was such a hit they put the third movie in theaters. I’m pretty sure they got all their original views by casting Zac Efron in the movie.

2. Camp Rock (1 and 2)

Everyone, and I mean everyone, was excited about the Jonas Brothers. I on the other hand didn’t particularly like the Jonas Brothers but I ended up liking Demi Lovato. While they made two movies, I thought the first one was definitely the better of the two.

3. The Cheetah Girls (1, 2 and 3)

This was the greatest movie because you could get together with your girlfriends and pretend you were the Cheetah Girls. The first two movies were good, but I personally think the third wasn’t as good because they didn’t include Raven Symone. She was the reason I originally gained interest in The Cheetah Girls because of That’s So Raven.

4. Cow Belles

I completely forgot about this movie until I had started looking for movies for my article. Aly and AJ Michalka stared in this movie together and while I don’t think it was one of the best, it still is noteworthy. If you don’t remember this movie, you probably remember Aly & AJ’s music. Also, a side note is Michael Trevino from the Vampire Diaries was also in this movie.

5. Twitches (1 and 2)

The Mowry sisters! Was there anything they couldn’t do? Twitches was my favorite Disney movie at Halloween time.

6. Starstruck

Another movie that was drawn attraction to because of a boy, this time Sterling Knight. We all knew him from Demi Lovato’s show Sonny with A Chance. This movie was made at the end of my Disney Channel days and it was a cute one to end with.

7. Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior

Brenda Song finally playing a character other than London Tipton. I don’t find this to be one of the best movies but I remember being excited about Brenda Song because of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

8. The Lizzie McGuire Movie

Technically, this isn’t a Disney Channel original because they played it in theaters, but since it was Lizzie McGuire it still counts. If you don’t know the words to What Dreams Are Made Of, can you even say you watched the movie?

9. Hannah Montana: The Movie

Again, another movie we had to see in the theaters. Based off of everyone’s favorite Disney show Hannah Montana.Everyone wanted to be Hannah Montana, everyone loved Hannah Montana, and everyone has seen this movie.

10. Princess Protection Program

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in the same movie? This is insane! People freaked out over this one because two of Disney's stars were coming together to do a movie and at the time they were also BFF's.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. 6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
