There are very few people today that can say they haven't seen or aren't a huge fan of Criminal Minds. The avid watchers that we are, we know all about the quotes at the end of the show that leaves us with a lesson, or a little advice. Without further or do, here are 10 of those Criminal Minds quotes everyone should live by:

1. Season 2, Episode 3 "A Perfect Storm"

"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The massive characters are seared with scars."

-Khalil Gibran

This quote was stated by JJ. Not only did this episode teach us that JJ is a total BA, but that you should always fight your way out of things. It taught us that being strong isn't always having to give in, but fight for what you know is right.

2. Season 3, Episode 3 "Scared to Death"

"He who controls others may be powerful but he who has mastered himself is mightier still."

-Lao Tzu

Hotch made this quote linger in our minds. Even though someone may be more skilled at manipulating others, doesn't mean they have everything. Being able to control yourself means more than the gratitude or loyalty of other people.

3. Season 3, Episode 9 "Penelope"

"Love all. Trust a few. Do wrong to none."

-William Shakespeare

Garcia is known to make sure everyone is alright, and feeling her love. It would make sense that she would be given this quote to say. Loving everyone does not mean that you have to trust everyone. Keeping some at an arms length is a best option. Truly, doing wrong to none is something we could all learn and live by.

4. Season 6, Episode 12 "Corazon"

"No man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks."

-Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley

Reid stated this quote. When doing anything in life, it is important that you are doing it happily. Yet, do not mistake what is wrong for happiness, and do not blind yourself from the truth of that wrong doing to make it seem as though you are happy.

5. Season 7, Episode 2 "Proof"

"Nothing inspires forgiveness quite like revenge."

-Scott Adams

Rossi was correct when saying this quote. Do not delay an apology, or forgiveness to another. Seeking closure of a dispute by apologizing pays off more in the end than making the hurt individual come back to get revenge. Revenge from another person can be solved by simply apologizing when need be.

6. Season 7, Episode 8 "Hope"

"We are each on our own journey. Each of us is on our very own adventure; encountering all kinds of challenges, and the choices we make on that adventure will shape us as we go; these choices will stretch us, test us and push us to our limit; and our adventure will make us stronger then we ever know we could be."

-Aamnah Akram

Everyone is fighting their own battles in life. Always treat others with respect because just as you are on your own journey with hardships, so are they. Once those hardships are seen, your own would not seem so bad in most situations. So be understanding of those around you. Garcia was spot on with this quote in the episode.

7. Season 8, Episode 2 "The Pact"

"If you win, say nothing. If you lose, say less."

-Paul Brown

Rossi was a perfect fit to state this quote. In life, you will win and lose. Yet, it is not that outcome that shows the type of person you are, it is your reaction to the outcome. Winning is great, yet don't show off. When you lose in life, don't even act like it happened to you and soon you will be in a new competition to see if you can win.

8. Season 9, Episode 12 "The Black Queen"

"To invent your own life's meaning is not easy, but it's still allowed, and I think you'll be happier for the trouble."

-Bill Watterson

This quote was said by Garcia. Truly a free spirit on her own. Your destiny, fate, or whatever you call it is not set in stone. Your meaning on this planet is not 100% determined to happen. Things change, people change and whatever path you take can change why you are here. Remember never to give in to what is expected of you. Always try for greatness.

9. Season 10, Episode 2 "Burn"

"It doesn’t take a lot of strength to hang on. It takes a lot of strength to let go."

-J.C. Watts

Garcia is on a role with her life quotes. Anyone can hang on to something. The fear of change is greater than all other fears. Yet, in life do not hang on or stay with people that will propel you nowhere in the future. Letting go is one of the hardest things to do in life, yet it shows true courage and strength. Be strong.

10. Season 10, Episode 20 "A Place at the Table"

"We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future."

-George Bernard Shaw

It is perfect to end with Hotch saying the most important quote, I think, in the season. Dwelling on the past is something the weak do. Do not focus on what has happened in your life already, good or bad. It has happened and you can never go back and relive it or change it. Focus on the future. Learning from your past is key, yet do not try and live in it.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
