"Grey's Anatomy" is a crazy show with dramatic and gorgeous doctors, but some of the greatest moments on this show are the insane patients or abnormal cases. Here's a list of the coolest patients that have been on the show, specifically from some of the earlier seasons. *Spoilers ahead*

1. Conjoined Twins

Adult conjoined twins are super rare, and trying to separate them took 23 surgeons! The fact that the twins were in love with the same woman added some humor and some drama.

2. Strangers Stuck On A Pole

Not only was this cool, it made you ugly cry. A train accident caused a bunch of crazy accidents, but most notably there was a pair of strangers impaled by the same pole. The "we can't remove the thing impaling you because it'll cause more damage" trope was utilized here. The doctors realized Bonnie was hurt more and decided to move her off of the pole, which sealed her tragic fate.

3. Two Uteri

This woman was pregnant in both of her uteri, by different men. Having two uteri (plural of uterus - fun fact) is super rare, as are most conditions patients have on "Grey's Anatomy". Her fiancé finds out that one of the kids isn't his when Addison reveals how far along each child is. Cheating seems to be a theme in Grey's Anatomy.

(S3E6)

4. Toxic Blood

A cancer patient took an herbal treatment and it reacted weirdly with her chemo treatment and caused her blood to become toxic. The entire surgical team that went in to operate on her passed out. Addison Shepard then ran in to put her back under anesthesia and nearly fainted. Then Derek and Preston went in with air tight suits to operate on her but ran out of air too soon. The interns then took shifts running in to pack and wrap her before they all nearly collapsed! Doctors in danger - typical "Grey's Anatomy".

5. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato comes into the ER because she tried to claw her eyes out. She has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, but there's more going on. She threatens to kill herself and Karev has to calm her down. It's a very tense and emotional case with an interesting end. Lovato's character has superior canal dehiscence syndrome, meaning she can hear everything that's happening inside her body. She's not crazy!

6. Concrete Kid

Truth or dare turned deadly. The boy was unpopular and the brunt of many jokes in his "friend" group. They dared him to lay down in cement and took their time in calling the police when they realized he couldn't move. It seems like an interesting case, and it only gets more interesting as the dangers of cement are realized.

7. Bloody Neck

Seth Green was an awesome guess to have on "Grey's Anatomy", and his presence was made better by his interactions with Lexie Grey! Green's character had a neck tumor that McSteamy removed, leaving only a small flap of skin covering his carotid artery. There was concern that his artery would burst (as you can guess from the image above, it did). It was a very fun episode that turned dark rather quickly.

8. Bomb Inside

A classic "Grey's Anatomy" episode, one of the first ridiculous and dramatic episodes (soon to be outdone by the shooting and the plane crash). A literal homemade bomb was inside of a man, about to go off. It was a very tense episode that ended mostly well. The star - young Grey - was of course in mortal danger.

(S2E17)

9. Internally Decapitated

When this man arrives at the hospital, the EMTs say he's dead and a doctor just needs to declare it, but then he moves! It turns out his head was no longer connected to his spine internally. Derek had to do some quick and fragile work to reconnect everything. The man had to stay perfectly still -- but he survived!

(S4E1)

10. Chainsaw Foot

A seemingly normal man walked into the clinic complaining that his foot was no longer his own. It was twitching and he was freaking out. The doctors refused to cut it off until they got a better look at what was wrong. If it was a healthy foot, normally you wouldn't amputate it. Tragically, another patient came in and brought a chainsaw with him because his finger was caught in it. The crazy man grabbed the chainsaw and before anyone could stop him, began sawing off his own foot! He didn't completely cut it off but he did enough damage that they had to eventually amputate him.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
