With winter break coming to a close, it’s time for many of us to head back to school in a climate that might as well be the tundra.
Chances are, your dorm or apartment doesn’t feel as warm – literally and aesthetically – as you’d like, and could use some sprucing up. Fortunately, there are some things you can add to your room so that being cooped up in your room in the winter isn’t so bad, after all.
1. Flowers
Not only will candles create soothing lighting, but also the scents they come in range to fit your needs – whether you need some lavender to help you sleep, or cinnamon spice to get you into the winter spirit, there’s something for everyone.
3. Furry throw pillows
Although you probably won’t sleep with them, these pillows
will make your bed fit for royalty – opt for faux fur so it won’t cost you too pretty a penny.
4. Pictures of family and friends
Take your attention off of the gray and gloomy weather outside by seeing the smiling faces of your favorite people and the beauty of your favorite things – what could be more comforting than that?
5. Stuffed Animal

6. Blanket

7. Heater
Sometimes you can’t control the heat in your own apartment, or maybe you just have issues with your age-old radiator, so you might want to invest in your own heater so you can feel warm and fuzzy from the outside in.
8. Robe
If you don’t already own one, you don’t know what you’re missing.
