For years now, country music has not always been deemed musically tasteful to many. Most people I have asked even deny any association or liking for the genre. And yes, many country songs are about beer, women, and trucks, but then again, these themes don't guarantee a hillbilly anthem will be born. Just as with any genre, there are good songs and there are bad ones. The good ones, however, are good ones regardless of which music category they fall under on iTunes. Here are 10 country songs even country music critics may secretly enjoy!
1) Burning House by Cam
The emotional song Burning House has a tune that is hard to get out of your head, which makes it hard to believe that it isn't already on everyone's playlist. Maybe it is the Southern accent that gets the critics' panties in a twist. No matter what, this song is one you'll want to put on replay!
2) Lullaby by Dixie Chicks
This soothing lullaby is too hypnotic to fully realize its country origin for those not familiarized with the genre! What a beautiful piece of music for anyone with a soft spot.
3) Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift
Before Taylor Swift became a world-wide pop icon she was a country singer with songs just as addictive as her more recent work! She proves that true musical talent is not missing from the Country music genre!

It's difficult to deny the amazing talent of Taylor Swift even back in her country music days. Here is yet another example of a great song of hers that can be argued not to be a Country song at all!
