No matter what stage of life we are in, we often find ourselves in times of stress or sadness. In those times, we often feel alone or abandoned by God. These verses are the go-to reminders of how much you are loved and protected by our Wonderful Creator and reminders that he is always right by your side, walking with you.

1. PSALM 9:10:

“For you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you”

2. ISAIAH 54:10

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed.”

3. JEREMIAH 29:11

“For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.”

4. PSALM 31:7-8

“Because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place.”

5. ROMANS 8:39

“Nor height nor death, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

6. 1 PETER 5:7

“Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

7. PSALM 31:14-15

“But I trust in you, O Lord; I say “You are God.” My times are in my hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!”

8. DEUTERONOMY 31:8

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

9. ISAIAH 41:10

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Basically, this entire chapter is so comforting and I encourage everyone to go read the whole thing)

10. PSALM 91: 11-12

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up.”

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
