The '70s and '80s was prime time for rock-and-roll. With musical geniuses blossoming all around, some of the best music was made during this time. If someone were to hear this timeless music, it could be mistaken that it was written last week. Here are my top 10 albums from this era that should be common knowledge.

10. "Physical Graffiti" (Led Zeppelin)

Combing the sound of folk, Celtic, and rock, masterminds Jimmy Page and Robert Plant produced a unique and never-before-heard sound.

9. "Sticky Fingers" (The Rolling Stones)

What can I say about "Sticky Fingers"? It's a classic.

8. "Rumours" (Fleetwood Mac)

With relationships falling apart one after another, each song of this album tells a different story.

7. "A Night at the Opera" (Queen)

Undoubtedly one of the best albums of the '70s, this album includes arguably the most intricately detailed vocal masterpieces of the era, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

6. "Who's Next" (The Who)

With radio-friendly hit after hit, The Who claimed the music lover's world by storm with this dynamic album.

5. "Moving Pictures" (Rush)

When I was growing up, I listened to Rush almost every day, and this album is my favorite of the many they created.

4. "The Stranger" (Billy Joel)

This whole album could be one whole big hit. Each song on here is worthy of every second of every song. Each of these songs should be on the radio all the time.

3. "The White Album" (The Beatles)

Of course, The Beatles are the godfathers of classic rock. These songs are the basis of the era that changed music forever.

1. "Dark Side of the Moon" (Pink Floyd)

A nonstop, perfectly flowing album made by the prodigal, yet clashing, minds of David Gilmour and Rodger Waters, this album is tied for my number-one pick. Everyone should recognize this album because this was one of the main turning points in the Classic Rock era.

1. "Led Zeppelin IV" (Led Zeppelin)

Last, but certainly not least. This album is nothing less than perfect. It is tied with "Dark Side of the Moon" because I believe that both of these should be the most recognized albums in the world because of the beautiful music masterpieces they contain.

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Barn Pros

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.
