The second half of the semester is hard. The weeks are dreadfully slow, but days go on forever. Assignments are getting longer, but they're due in shorter amounts of time. I don't know, man, here's some cats that feel you:
1. When you tackle a little assignment, but still feel really accomplished:
Finishing that one-page paper may be the most you've accomplished all week. Good for you.
2. When you try to get that workout in...
You're trying. That's all that counts.
3. When you wake up and you're just ready to fight.
You don't know what it is. You wake up and you're suddenly on the defense and you have to hold yourself back from shouting at the person walking in front of you for going too slow.
4. When you say an answer, have to repeat it and then it's wrong.
"You fought so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter."
5. When you're taking a nap in the library and you don't care how silly you look.
I'm almost 300% positive you deserve that nap. Don't let the onlookers get you down.
6. When you're taking an exam and all of the answers leave you and all that's left is cats.
No, you don't remember all of the equations, but you could draw Bread Cat from memory on your answer sheet.
7. When you're counting down the days to the next break.
Break is only 25 days, 23 hours and 47 minutes away.
8. When you're so tired in class that you can feel your eyelids drooping, so you cover one eye for a minute to close it and then do the same to other so that your eyes will stop burning with sleep.
Don't tell me you've never done it.
9. When you realize one of the main reason you're getting a degree is to get a job so you can take care of your cats.
They need food and toys and all of my love.
10. When you finally get to go to sleep at the end of a really long day.
Close your eyes, sleep, and get ready for the next day.
