As summer rolls around the corner, you realize how much free time you're finally going to have. You finally get to read without other responsibilities hanging over your head. You may have no idea what book to pick up next! Well, here are 10 book suggestions for your summer reading list.

1. "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Random Riggs

This novel is perfect for those who love fantasy and the supernatural. The story opens with a boy, Jacob, journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of a home for strange children. This series, perfect for those who love fantasy and romance, tells the story of a girl Lucinda Price who is sent to Sword & Cross Reform School after she is accused of murdering a boy. There, she meets Daniel, a handsome boy whom she feels drawn to, and believes she has met before.

7. "The Good Girls" by Sara Shepard


Fans of Pretty Little Liars will love this book dearly. It tells the story of 5 girls who have done some not-so-perfect things. But even though they all talked about killing a rich bully, they didn’t actually go through with it. It’s just a coincidence that he died in exactly the way they planned. When someone else they named dies, they wonder if they’re being framed or if they are the killer’s next targets?

8. "Open Road Summer" by Emery Lord

Anyone who loves music will enjoy this book about Reagan, a rebellious teen, and her best friend Lilah, a country superstar.
