Finals are over, papers are finished and most of us are home for the holidays. Now, what am I supposed to do? No lie, I've already had dreams about math problems and woken up worried that I was missing out on prime studying time. But alas, I had nothing to fear because I was done with the semester. Now what was I going to do with all of this free time I now had? I decided to catch up on reading. So here are the top 10 books on my Christmas break reading list.
1. The Shack by William P. Young
2. The Hidden Strength by C.S. Lewis
3. Why Men Love B*tches by Sherry Argov
4. Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
5. Yes Please by Amy Poehler
6. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
7. The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis
8. The Universe Has Your Back: Transform Fear to Faith by Gabrielle Bernstein
9. Perfectly Imperfect: The Art and Soul of Yoga Practice by Baron Baptiste
10. The Power of Choice: Choose Faith Not Fear by Rev. J. Martin
As you can tell, these books do not all fall into one category. But I believe that you can read for pleasure and knowledge. I don't want to waste my time reading nonsense romances when I could be challenging my mind and my faith. So if y'all decide to read any of these books too, comment and tell me what you think of them! I'll be writing book reviews after every one I finish. Hopefully, I will be able to finish them all before the start of the new semester. Merry Christmas, everyone!
