10 Blair Waldorf Quotes That Will Get You Through The Day

We all wish we were Blair Waldorf sometimes. We all want our own Dorota, and our own Chuck Bass, but at least we have her wise words to help guide us along the path to finding our inner Blair.

1. "I have an idea for you: quit. Your boss is a bitch. Let's go to lunch."

So much sass and so much class. Blair's lack of emotion when it comes to certain situations is inspiring.

2. "Destiny is for losers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen."

So well said. If you want something, work for it. Go get it. Stop waiting for a sign or for it to magically happen because 'it's meant to be'.

3. "Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness doesn't know where to shop."

Shopping is truly the best medicine.

4. " Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It's movement, design and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we'd like to be."

Dress how you want, because it's a reflection of who you are. So wear a headband and pearls and Louboutin shoes, bring out your inner Blair, and own who you are.

5. "There's only one queen bitch in this town and it's me."

Basically what I think to myself everyday when I'm trying to get on the bus.

6. "You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you."

My thoughts on transportation services at college.

7. " Feelings never do make sense. They get you all confused. Then drive you around for hours before they drop you right back where you started."

Whatever you're feeling, whether it's sadness, happiness, broken-heartedness, or anger, remember it happens to everyone and feelings will take you on a wild ride.

8. "You have to decide what's more important. Keeping your pride and getting nothing, or taking a risk and maybe, maybe having everything."

Blair took risks to make her life better, and so should you.

9. "Things are never as bad as you think."

Even if things seem as bad as they can get, try and find a positive. I promise it helps.

10. "Here's my advice. Have a little faith, and if that doesn't work have a lot of mimosas."

This one speaks for itself, and it deserves it's title of being one of the most popular Blair Waldorf quotes.

Blair Waldorf lives within all of us, and she sometimes says things we wish we had the confidence to say. Take her advice and live by her quotes, and soon you'll be just as classy, smart, and sassy as she is.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
