"Sophomore year is so fun!" they said. "You're young and get to live without a care in the world!" they said. You know what no one said? "You'll probably find yourself in the Career Center freaking out week three of the semester because you will have to make a life decision that will dictate your career path at the ripe old age of 20!"

On week three of the semester, that's exactly where I found myself. Freaking out to the head of Villanova's Career Center because as a notorious planner, I was absolutely beside myself that I was absolutely clueless on what major I should declare by January. That freak-out has led me to engage anyone and everyone who is willing to listen about my struggle this semester to chose a career path. (Sorry mom for all the panicky phone calls twice a week)

I am still struggling with this decision, (any prayers, words of encouragement, advice, baked-good care packages, etc... is very much appreciated) so I thought I would share 10 Bible verses that have helped keep me grounded during this tumultuous time in my life with anyone in a similar situation! You are not alone!

1. Proverbs 3:5

2. Jeremiah 29:11

3. 1 Peter 5:7

4. Psalm 112:7

5. Ecclesiastes 3:11

6. Proverbs 31:25

7. Romans 15:13

8. 1 Peter 1:6

9. 2 Corinthians 4:18

10. Psalm 46:10

morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
