Whether you're 17, 21, or 50 we've all done it: struggled with our self esteem. We can't even go to the mall without pictures of Victoria's Secret models plastered on the walls wearing perfect lingerie with perfect bodies. We have become a society of comparing. We're not thin enough. Our butt isn't big enough. Our stomach isn't flat enough. We cake our makeup on. Show a little skin. And gossip about other girls to make ourselves feel better. We've become self absorbed, yet we hate ourselves. We've all done it. But through Christ we are SO much more. We are beautiful and loving towards others. We cannot fully love until we love ourselves. Through Christ we realize our inner beauty is so worthy. Here is what The Bible says about self love. These verses have gotten me through thick and thin and I can only wish they do the same for society. Through Jesus we are beautiful. Through Jesus your enemies are equally as beautiful. Become a society of empowerment.

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
