College is simply a roller coaster, each day filled with its ups and downs. One day, you feel invincible, having the time of your life while the next you're drowning in research papers and exams. All together, its one of the biggest thrill rides of our lives, filled with excitement, fear, anxiety, and joy. When it all becomes too much (as we feel it often does) here are some words to help you find your balance.

When you need support...

"I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Psalm 16:8

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." Isaiah 43:2

When you feel overwhelmed...

"Cast all your anxiety on Him; because He cares." 1 Peter 5:7

"When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I am." Psalm 61:2

""Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

When you need guidance...

"Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory." Psalm 73:23-24

When you feel anxious about the future...

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that will prevail." Proverbs 19:21

"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

When you feel thankful...

"Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever." Psalm 106:1

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." James 1:2-3

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life.
