College can be quite the experience. Some days truly feel like the best days of life so far, whereas others are extremely difficult. Sometimes it is easy to feel lost in the social norms, worried for those back home, and stressed beyond belief. But even when things feel impossible, we have to remember that we have a Father in Heaven who wants us to cast our anxieties and worries to Him, always. There is never going to be something too big for Him to handle, so counting on Him can get us through anything. Here's just a few verses that can help every college student through college, or simply life.

1. "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord Is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

Sometimes our future becomes scary, and we begin to worry we are pursuing the wrong passion in college, causing us to develop fear. God does not want us to be afraid. We are to trust Him and believe that He truly has a plan for us. As long as we have Jesus, we have nothing to fear.

2. "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17)

God is always providing us with constant love, joy, and peace. Once we rejoice and give our life to Him, we are whole. He will be here holding our hands through college and forever after.

3. "I can do all things through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)

This is a popular verse that many know by heart, but it is one of the best, especially while we are trying to figure out our lives. When we lose hope in ourselves, God has not given up on us and He never will. He will give us strength to do the unimaginable, we just have to trust Him.

4. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own." (Matthew 6:34)

As college students, we are worried about what is going to happen tomorrow or next week, but we rarely focus on the now. We need to enjoy each moment because we will not always be this young and content with life. We can worry about tomorrow's issues after we worry about today.

5. "I call to You from the end of the earth when my heart is weak. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." (Psalm 61:2)

Sometimes we go through experiences that break our hearts. Whether it be a break up, a family death, or life plans falling through, He is higher. We cannot truly rely on anyone or anything to give us the love and satisfaction that he provides during a time of need.

6. "Praise the Lord, my soul, all my inmost being, praise his holy name." (Psalm 118:28)

Along with Him being by our side through the tough times, He wants us to rejoice in him when something great happens. We should always thank and praise Him for all that He has given to us each day.

7. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9)

We might think that we have our lives figured out, but our plans for our life can be a lot different than His eternal plan for us. We should trust His word more than our own. If something happens in our lives that ruins our plan for the future, we must count on nobody but the Lord.

8. “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." (Ephesians 4:26)

Pray, pray, pray. Our faith needs to continue, even when we feel like we cannot do something anymore. Prayer will get us through. It is a lot easier to forgive rather than to hold a grudge.

9. "This is my commandment: that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:12)

This verse is important for not only any romantic relationships we have, but also with anyone we encounter. Gossiping, bringing others down, and unforgiving are very easy to do, especially being surrounded by those we disagree with all of the time in college. Imagine everything that could transform if everybody starting loving others as the Lord loved us. We are also told over and over again to put others before ourselves, and that is so important.

10. "You are loved more than you know by someone who died to know you." (Romans 5:8)

Sometimes we feel as if nobody loves us or needs us in their life, but He loves us more than we will ever know. He died for our sins so that we can live. College can be a challenge. Our faith is shaky a lot of time, and sometimes stress gets the best of us. He is why so many things are so great in the world and in life. He is our recovery and the one who deserves all of our praise.

These bible verses are just a few of the many that will help any college student get through. It helps to know a few when situations feel too difficult too handle, and when we just simply need a reminder of His love.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
