If you ever went to an all girl's school, you have heard time and time again all the bad stigmas that come with it.

No, we do not live in our uniform, we wear regular clothes too.

Yes, we do know how to talk to boys.

No, we do not live for school, we do have lives.

However, if you went to all an girl's school, you'd know it is one of the best things that ever happened to you. Here are ten reasons why going to an all girl school is the best thing any girl can do.

1. Morning routines

You can wake up five minutes before you need to leave; brush your teeth, put on your uniform, grab a snack, and walk out the door. No makeup or cute clothes necessary.

2. The camaraderie

It's an "we are all in this together" situation. We all can look like a hot mess and no one will judge you. Most of your classmates, like you, stayed up till 2 in the morning doing homework too. It is a mutual understanding that we are all coffee dependent, sleep deprived, and just want to catch up on our Netflix shows but can't

3. It's a sisterhood

It is a pre-sorority feel. It is a sisterhood for life that you will keep forever. You may not know everyone's name, but you consider them a sister anyway.

4. No, boys aren't such a bad thing

There are no boys to distract your during your classes allowing you to feel comfortable asking questions and answering questions.

5. It's easy to be yourself

It is such a comfortable environment that you can completely be yourself without feeling like someone is judging you.

6. It's geared towards feminism

The environment advocates for feminism. All girls schools want girls to understand that men and women should have equal rights in politics, work, and in life. If someone doesn't believe/understand feminism you already have ten statistics lined up to tell them to help them understand feminism and all it's aspects.

7. Leadership is key

You can take the lead on any project, because leadership and taking control of a project is second nature.

8. The school spirit is strong

We may not have a football team but when a girl wins a science or academic award, the whole school goes wild.

9. It makes for empowered, motivated women

It pushes you to work hard in school and you look back years after thanking your lucky starts you learned how not to procrastinate and to stay ahead on all assignments.

10. A mutual understanding of attending an all girl's school

When you meet another girl who went to an all girl school, you freak out and feel like you understand her on an emotional level.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
