10 Best Songs For A Road Trip

Music.

Road trips.

Probably two of the greatest things that humans can experience, and when you put them together, some fun times ensue. Here are ten songs that just scream road trip.

10. Vegas by All Time Low

Maybe you could listen to this while going to Vegas, but either way, this song makes you want to sing and drive.

9. Cool for the Summer by Demi Lovato

I mean, Demi does drive around in her music video for this song. Her soft voice and loud beats are perfect for long drives. How could it not be?

8. Anthem Part Two by Blink-182

Blink-182 songs never spark anything less than excitement, so naturally, this song is a good choice.

7. The Weekend by Modern Baseball

This song is more like the one you'd listen to while driving around into the night. Going probably nowhere. With food everywhere. Either way, it's amazing.

6. R.I.P. 2 My Youth by The Neighbourhood

Who doesn't like The Neighbourhood? All of their songs scream road trips, and maybe just like the ones in the movies.

5. Backseat Serenade by All Time Low

This song might be about more than just a backseat of a car, but it's still perfect to sing along to while speeding down the highway.

4. You're Gonna Go Far, Kid by The Offspring

Well, you definitely will go far if you jam to this while driving a long, long way.

3. Negative Creep by Nirvana

It's just fun to scream negative creep continuously while driving.

2. Boxing Day by Blink-182

This song screams road trip movie montage, and well, it'll make you feel like you're in one too.

1. All The Small Things by Blink-182

I mean... seriously? Is any road trip great without one of the most popular Blink songs ever? Even if you don't know this song, you know this song.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
